Ippudo Barcelona marks the arrival in Spain of the renowned Japanese chain specialising in ramen. The project seeks to transfer the brand’s identity to a European urban context through a space in which gastronomy, architecture and customer experience are integrated into a precise and recognisable atmosphere.

The interior is structured through a spatial sequence that leads visitors from the street towards the heart of the restaurant. A continuous timber envelope articulates circulation, dining areas and transition zones, generating an architectural rhythm that organises the programme.

The open kitchen and central counter turn the culinary process into part of the user experience. The combination of materiality, lighting and geometry creates a clear space that reinterprets references to Japanese culture through a contemporary language.
